1. Offline Operation & Data Ownership
XML Schema Editor is designed as a standalone, offline desktop application. All schema parsing, validation, mock instance generation, and code compilation operations occur strictly on your local machine. We do not transmit, collect, or store your schema files, documents, or generated code on any remote servers.
2. Zero Data Harvesting & Telemetry
The application does not include third-party tracking cookies, analytics trackers, or user telemetry
engines. Local logs and diagnostic dumps are written exclusively to your local application data
directory (%LOCALAPPDATA%\XMLSchemaEditor) for developer troubleshooting and are never
automatically transmitted.
3. Microsoft Store Licensing
When installed through the Microsoft Store, purchase and license verification are handled securely by
standard Microsoft Store APIs (Windows.Services.Store). No financial, credit card, or
personal contact information is accessible by or shared with Bytecar.
